JMIF participated in the 32^nd APLMF Forum held in Indonesia from November 5th to 7th, 2025.

APLMF is a regional organization for legal metrology composed of the 26 economies (countries) in the Asia-Pacific region. APLMF Forum is held annually, and 54 participants from 19 economies discussed such topics as WG activities, trend of legal metrology, and strategic plan at the Forum.

JMIF had the opportunity to introduce the International Conference of Weighing (ICW) 2026 through a presentation on November 6th. In addition, with the kind support of the APLMF Secretariat, posters for ICW2026 were displayed near the entrance of the venue.

It has been fixed that Dr Faridah Hussain, the President of APLMF and the Chief Metrologist of National Metrology Institute of Malaysia (NMIM), will deliver a presentation at ICW2026.
