JMIF conducted a three-day visit to metrology-related organizations and an international conference in Taiwan from June 16 to 18, 2025.

Day1：June 16th,at Taipei Measuring Instruments Association（TMIA）in Taipei City

It was the first time since 2023 that JMIF delegation had the opportunity to communicate with the representatives of TMIA in Taiwan.
This time JMIF delegation visited the secretariat of TMIA for the first time and introduced ICW2026 and invited the representatives to participate in the event.

Day2：June 17th,at Asia Pacific Metrology Programme Mid-Year Meetings (APMP) in Hsinchu City

JMIF delegation participated in APMP Mid-Year Meetings, a series of events held annually to promote and develop metrology in the Asia-Pacific region. During the meeting, JMIF had the opportunity to introduce ICW2026 in Advance Semiconductor Metrology Forum, held in ITRI Kuang-Fu Campus and at DEC(Developing Economies Committee) workshop, held in Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu. JMIF also put up a poster of ICW2026 at each venue and informed the meeting participants about the event.

Day3：June 18th,at Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) in Taipei City

JMIF delegation visited BSMI for the first time since 2023 and had the meeting with Deputy Director General, Mr. June-Chieh Lai, Deputy Director of the metrology administration division, Mr. Chao-Ching Chang and other staff from related departments. JMIF introduced ICW2026 and asked for the speech about QR code initiatives in Taiwan. JMIF also gave a presentation on automatic catchweighing instruments and exchanged information about the verification of water meter at the meeting.

Exchange gifts in front of National Standard Time in Taiwan

JMIF will continue maintaining regular contact and building close relationships with metrology-related organizations in Taiwan.
