JMIF had an online meeting with KASTO (Korea Association of Standards and Testing Organizations) on 22 June regarding the legal metrology system of each country. The 2-hour meeting was successfully concluded.
JMIF introduced the legal metrology database launched in 2018 as well as the legal metrology system of Japan and the recent partial revision of the enforcement order of the Metrology Act.
As for the legal metrology database, WG was set up to collect information on the legal metrology systems of other countries. Most of the JMIF participants were WG members.
KASTO presented the legal metrology system in Korea and legal management of the Electric Vehicle Charger which started in 2020.
More than 20 attendees participated in the meeting to understand each country's system.
