JMIF organized the fact-finding mission for Mexico in order to collect information on the economic and investment trends as well as the metrology system and sent the delegation from 11-18 November 2018. .
The delegate’s first destination was Mexico City, where the delegate had meetings with JETRO, PROMEXICO, and Japanese Chamber of Commerce. Moreover, they visited CENAM, Metrology research institute, and got a glimpse of the latest research development in Mexico.
On the way to the second destination, Queretaro, they dropped by DGN (DIRECCION GENERAL DE NORMAS), which is in charge of legal metrology, and got information on legal metrology system in Mexico.
In Queretaro, the delegation members visited Japanese companies where members were warmly welcomed. They discussed the business situation as well as management and human resource development.
